A Day in Quarantine with Ally King & Kyla Polanco
As the leaves turn colors and a new season is upon us, our home base in New York City is falling into questions. What will come of the winter? Will a second wave hit? Is it safe to indulge in dining indoors? How do we keep sane and at peace during such a time?
Throughout quarantine, Artist Ally King and Photographer Kyla Polanco have become experts at coping with the unknown. In the below photo story, they take us through their space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn that proves its all about creating your own little getaway in the comfort of your home. Using departo's life objects in unexpected ways, they've created their quarantine oasis - and successfully found it's who and what you surround yourself with that allow you to "make it work and escape to your creative side."
